An administrative review panel confirmed the determination made by the District Manager of the Salmon Arm Forest District that Mr. Foster had contravened section 96 of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act.  Mr. Foster filed an appeal of the decision to the Commission.

Prior to a hearing of the appeal, Mr. Foster and the District Manager made a joint submission requesting that the appeal be resolved.  By the consent of the parties, the Commission ordered that the District Manager’s determination is confirmed, and the penalty is varied to $2,200.
