The following information is intended to be very brief and general. For more detailed information, please consult the Commission’s Rules and Practice and Procedures Manual. The Procedure Manual is a more detailed and comprehensive document that will refer you to the specific legal requirements and Rules that apply to a particular subject matter, or a particular type of application/request, as well as the general policies and practices of the Commission. In addition, there are Information Sheets that provide additional information on many of the subjects covered in the questions and answers below.

The Commission has created Rules which apply to the appeals. In addition, the Commission has created a detailed Practice and Procedure Manual covering all aspects of the appeal process, and has created Information Sheets on particular subjects.
