Summary

Decision Date: August 18, 2004

Panel: Alan Andison

Keywords:  Consent order

The Ministry of Forests issued a stumpage rate determination with respect to a cutting permit under a woodlot licence held by the Appellants.  The Appellants requested an appeal of that determination.  By consent of the parties, the Forest Appeals Commission ordered that the determination be rescinded and the stumpage fixed at the rate in effect three weeks after the Appellants sent notice to the Ministry of Forests indicating an intention to change to a fixed stumpage rate.

Accordingly, by consent of the parties, the appeal was allowed.
